foodoffset.org is a project of Oxefa. Oxefa is a registered UK charity.

These Terms of use apply in respect of your use of Oxefa’s websites (foodoffset.org, oxefa.org) and all our associated websites, together called “our website”.

Your use of our website is under:

• our privacy policy
• our blog and forum rules and
• all laws that apply.

Using our website means you agree to follow these Terms of use in full. If you not agree to these Terms of use, please do not use our website.
1. Use of our website
Our website is free for anyone to find out more about Oxefa and the services we offer.

We try hard to ensure that our website is accurate and up-to-date. We may sometimes make mistakes and can’t guarantee the accuracy of the information on our website or that you’ll always be able to access it. We don’t accept liability for errors or omissions or for any reliance you place on the information on our website.

You agree to use our website lawfully and ethically. In particular, you agree to not use our website in connection with:

Visitors use links to move from one website to another or from one page to another in the same website.

Our website contains links to third parties’ websites. We don’t endorse or accept liability for the contents of third party websites we link to.

Our website links to pages maintained by us on third party social media websites. When you use those pages, you must do so under those websites’ Terms of use and these Terms of use.

You agree that if you link to our website from any other website you will do so under our Terms of use.
3. Trade marks, logos and service marks
Trade marks, logos and service marks, together called “trade marks”, used on our website, whether registered or unregistered, are property of their owners.

5. Viruses
We try to keep our anti-virus software up-to-date. We do not guarantee that our website, its servers, downloadable files and emails are free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage as a result of any infection of your computer and equipment.

6. Oxefa’s forums and blogs
If you wish to post comments on our forum blogs or any other part of our website, you must do so under the forum rules, blog rules and these Terms of use.

Some areas of our website may let you upload text and images. The forum and blog rules apply as if the text and images are comments posted on our forum or blog.
7. Donations and gift aid
If you use our website to donate, you may be able to take advantage of the United Kingdom’s gift aid scheme.
9. Registering on our website
You may be able to register as a user on our website, in which case we may create a user account for you. You’ll be bound by these Terms of use as are all users of our website. We may choose not to accept your registration or cancel your registration at any time.

Unless we say otherwise in writing, you must be 18 years or older to register with our website. When you register we’ll ask you to confirm your age.

We will only use any personal information we collect from you under our privacy policy.
13. Connection and charges
You’re responsible for connecting with a telecommunications provider to access our website and for the costs you incur in using our website.
14. Changes to these Terms of use
We may sometimes change these Terms of use. If we make any big changes we will post a notice on the homepage of our website.

By continuing to use our website you agree to be bound by any changes we make to these Terms of use.
15. General
If we are prevented from enforcing any of these Terms of use it will not mean we cannot enforce the rest of them, which will continue to apply.

These Terms of Use will be governed by English law. The English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to hear disputes about these Terms.

In all your use of the services of foodoffset.org and Oxefa, you are kindly asked to account for the fact that all members of Oxefa and of the foodoffset.org project work voluntarily in their spare time for these projects rather than as full-time employees within these projects.
